Terms & Conditions

1. Service Agreement
By scheduling a service with Louie's Window Cleaning, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all residential and commercial window cleaning services, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, screen cleaning, track detailing, solar panel cleaning, and any other services provided by Louie's Window Cleaning.
A service agreement is considered accepted when you book an appointment, whether by phone, text, email, or online form. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of each service unless a prior arrangement has been made in writing. We accept cash, check, and all major credit and debit cards. Invoices not paid within 30 days may be subject to a late fee. In the event an account is moved to collections, the client is responsible for all collection agency fees and related costs. Invoices for recurring plan members are issued on a schedule agreed upon at time of enrollment.
For commercial accounts, net 15 payment terms may be available upon request and approval. Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge on the outstanding balance.
Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee in addition to any bank charges incurred.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a service appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to $50 depending on the scope of the scheduled work.
For recurring plan members, repeated short-notice cancellations may result in suspension or cancellation of the membership plan without refund of any prepaid services.
We understand emergencies happen. We will always do our best to work with you on rescheduling when circumstances are beyond your control.
4. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, contact us within 24 hours of service completion and we will return to address the issue at no additional charge.
The satisfaction guarantee applies to the quality of our cleaning work and does not cover pre-existing conditions, damage unrelated to our service, or dissatisfaction due to circumstances outside our control (e.g., weather during or after service, pre-existing window damage).
For plan members, our 7-Day Rain Guarantee provides a complimentary touch-up visit if it rains within 7 days of your scheduled cleaning.
5. Property Access
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and all windows included in the scheduled service. This includes unlocking gates, securing pets, moving furniture or obstacles near windows, and notifying us of any known hazards on the property.
For interior services, an adult (18 or older) must be present at the property during the visit unless prior arrangements have been made in writing.
If access is not available at the scheduled appointment time and we are unable to complete the service, a trip fee of up to $50 may be charged to cover travel and time.
6. Limitation of Liability
Louie's Window Cleaning carries full general liability insurance on every job. In the event that our work causes damage to your property, please notify us immediately so we can assess and address the situation.
Our liability is limited to the direct cost of repair or replacement of damaged items resulting from our negligence, up to the value of the service performed. We are not liable for:
• Pre-existing damage to windows, screens, frames, or property • Damage resulting from faulty or deteriorated window seals, frames, or hardware • Damage caused by third parties or conditions outside our control • Consequential, indirect, or incidental damages of any kind
We strongly recommend documenting any pre-existing damage before our arrival by notifying us during booking.
7. Right to Refuse Service
Louie's Window Cleaning reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:
• Unsafe working conditions on the property • Aggressive, threatening, or abusive behavior toward our team • Non-payment or repeated late payment • Property conditions that present an unacceptable risk of damage or injury
In cases where service is refused due to safety concerns, a trip fee may still apply if we have already traveled to the location.
8. Weather Policy
Exterior window cleaning requires appropriate weather conditions to ensure quality results. We reserve the right to reschedule exterior services due to rain, high winds, freezing temperatures, or other unsafe weather conditions. In these cases, we will contact you as early as possible to arrange an alternate date at no additional charge.
Interior-only services can typically proceed regardless of weather. If we reschedule due to weather, plan members retain their service credit for the rescheduled appointment.
9. Photography & Marketing
Louie's Window Cleaning reserves the right to photograph completed work at your property for use in marketing materials, social media, our website, and other promotional purposes. Photos will not include personally identifiable information such as house numbers, names, or faces without explicit consent.
If you prefer that no photos be taken at your property, you may opt out in writing at the time of booking by notifying us via email or text. Verbal opt-outs will be honored but we recommend written notice to ensure it is properly recorded.
10. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
In the event of a dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or any services provided by Louie's Window Cleaning, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation.
If negotiation does not resolve the dispute within 30 days, both parties agree to submit the matter to binding arbitration before a mutually agreed-upon arbitrator in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both parties.
Arbitration is intended to provide a faster and less costly resolution than litigation. Each party shall bear its own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise. This clause does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction where necessary to prevent immediate harm.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pennsylvania.
